Step 1: Book In Your Newborn Photography from Corrimal
Have you been searching for a newborn, maternity and family photographer near the Corrimal area, contact Lollie Claire Photography. When thinking about having your newborn and maternity photography sessions in Corrimal, we suggest making a booking as soon as you are given your approximate due date. Your newborn photography session will be scheduled two weeks after your due date. However, we know that babies have their own schedule and if your little one arrives earlier or later than anticipated we will adjust your photo shoot accordingly.
One of the most common questions that I always get asked is what age is my baby considered a newborn or older baby? A baby is considered to be a newborn up until they are 4 weeks of age & older babies up to 12 weeks of age (styled as a newborn session). Once your baby has grown out of the newborn stage, we will be able to capture more awake photos. Newborn sessions are held in my Balgownie studio. This is the time where you can sit back, relax while we work our magic and capture sentimental photos of your baby. Our studio is equipped with various props, wraps, and backdrops, all of which are available for us to use during your newborn session. Step 2: Leading Up To Your Corrimal Photo Shoot
Pregnancy is a beautiful journey, it is a precious and exciting time in a woman’s life. However, before you know it your beautiful newborn has arrived into the world and you’re left wondering where did all that time go? Being able to capture this moment of your beautiful bump is something that we know you will cherish for a lifetime and beyond. If you are looking to book in Corrimal maternity photography – our studio is close by!
All of our newborn & maternity bookings provide you with the option to include an indoor or on location maternity shoot between 30-34 weeks. All outdoor locations are scattered across the Corrimal area, where I can take you to some pretty spectacular sights that you may not know of! You will have access to an array of gorgeous maternity gowns from the studio’s client closet. You can view these here. You will be emailed a preparation guide and questionnaire to complete. This will be used as a reference for Lauren, in helping her style your newborn photo shoot and create beautiful memories for your family that you can treasure for a lifetime and beyond.
Step 3: On The Day Of Your Photography Session
This is where the magic begins! The most difficult part of the journey should be leaving your house. Upon arrival at my studio, you can enjoy the experience and have some time to yourself! Have a coffee and some nibbles – put your feet up because you deserve it. Some parents will even have a little nap, while I take care of their precious newborn. During our session, we will wrap you baby, this allows us to achieve more positions & prop setups. It also ensures that your baby is comfortable and warm. Safety is our topmost priority,
so you can rest easy knowing your newborn is in trusted hands with one of Corrimals most sought after photographers. When booking in your newborn session, a sibling and family session is also included and will be taken first. The session will take up to 2 hours which includes your viewing directly after your photo shoot where you see your images for the first time.
Step 4: See Your Images For The First Time
I love seeing your reaction to your baby photos, it’s one of the most precious moments of the day. Your photos will be displayed on the big screen so you can relax with your baby and take in the entire experience from start to finish. This is the time where you get to relive those amazing moments and pick the memories you want to treasure forever. Seeing all those happy and tearful reactions is the reason why I love doing what I do!
We also specialise in exceptional bespoke wall art & printed products which means you get to select from an array of incredible heirlooms to have your memories brought to life on. Being a big lover of albums, there are some pretty impressive ones on display around the home. However, knowing that each family is different we will work together to select the right fit for you and your home. During your viewing sessions, you can select your favourites and decide on which artwork and products will suit your home best. Before your appointment, we suggest having a good look around your home of where you could potentially place these images. This way, you can ensure that the size and shape fit perfectly. Bringing in a photo of the ideas you had in mind can help us create a scaled mock up for you.
Step 5: Collection Of Your Beautiful Prints
Our favourite part- where the magic comes to life! Are you wondering how long it will take to receive your beautiful images? You will have these beauties in your hands within one week of your session. And your final collection of photos, wall art and albums within four weeks from the photo shoot!

I’m a creative photographer that captures breathtaking photographs of you and your family. It’s about capturing those split second moments of pure love that will be forever frozen in time. What’s it like stepping foot into Laurens studio? Warm, comforting and puts you entirely at ease. During your session, Lauren will encourage you to take time out and simply relax whilst gently and delicately capturing your newborn baby and family photos. By the end of your session you will be calling her your own personal baby whisperer! Lauren, being a mum herself, knows what it’s like to have a newborn which is why she looks after both bubba and parents so that everyone can enjoy their time at her studio.
For your safety, Lauren has invested in a hospital grade disinfection device that is COVID certified. This device is used in addition to the studio’s thorough cleaning process to protect against virus & bacteria. Lauren also uses personal protective equipment during your session so that you relax knowing that bubba will be in a safe and hygienic environment.
